These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Trayecto ("Trayecto," "we," "us"), an AI-assisted college-admissions planning tool for students applying to universities in the United States. By creating an account or using Trayecto, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Trayecto uses an AI system (Anthropic's Claude) to generate a personalized college list, cost estimates, application checklists, a timeline, essay coaching, scholarship suggestions, and post-acceptance guidance — including an F-1 student visa guide — based on information you provide.
Trayecto is not a licensed immigration attorney, a financial advisor, or an official of any university, consulate, or government agency. It does not guarantee admission to any school, the receipt of any financial aid or scholarship, or the approval of any visa application. Every figure, deadline, eligibility read, and visa or legal detail Trayecto generates is produced by an AI system, may be incomplete, outdated, or simply wrong, and should be independently verified with the official source — the school itself, the U.S. Department of State, USCIS, or a licensed attorney — before you rely on it for a real decision.
You must provide accurate information and are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login secure. Access purchased for a specific plan belongs to that plan — Trayecto is built so a purchase unlocks the plan it was made for, not every plan an account will ever create, and we may suspend accounts used to circumvent this (for example, sharing one paid login across multiple people).
Plan tiers are one-time purchases, processed securely by Stripe — Trayecto never receives or stores your card details. A purchase unlocks the sections included in that tier for the specific plan you purchased it for. See our Refund Policy for how refund requests are handled.
You agree not to:
Trayecto and its underlying design, prompts, and methodology are our property. You retain ownership of the personal content you submit (your profile answers, essay drafts, activity descriptions) and grant us a license to process it — including sending it to Anthropic's Claude API — solely to generate your plan.
Trayecto relies on Anthropic (AI generation), Stripe (payments), and Supabase and Vercel (hosting, authentication, and data storage). We are not responsible for outages, errors, or data-handling practices that originate from these providers, each of which has its own terms and privacy policy.
Trayecto is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. AI-generated content can contain errors.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trayecto is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including a denied application, a denied visa, a missed scholarship, or a financial loss — arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to Trayecto in the 12 months before the claim arose.
We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of Trayecto after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of El Salvador.
